Students learn the various and effective methods for actively listening in lectures and taking informative, organized notes.

A hands-on session where participants will learn what their particular learning style preference is and how to apply this to improve learning and studying.

Answers the question, “Why do I put things off?” and provides techniques for changing work habits to become more timely and productive.
Preparation for Graduate School
Explore graduate school programs and gain an overview of the steps to admission: writing The Personal Statement, taking required standardized tests, and securing financing.

Learn to turn nervousness into dynamic energy and give outstanding presentations.
Speed Reading
Increase reading rate and improve concept comprehension and vocabulary.
Stress Management
Assess current life stressors and learn relaxation techniques to reduce stress levels.
Test Preparation and Taking
Learn strategies to prepare for objective and essay exams.
Beating Test Anxiety
Learn concrete ways to overcome the nervousness and anxiety that prevent high test performance.
Textbook Reading
Covers the SQ4R method of reading with a purpose and utilizing textbook structure to facilitate learning and long-term retention.

Gives students a variety of ways to organize their multiple demands and activities, while emphasizing the importance of balancing studying with rest and social activities.
