TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program

TRiO Educational Talent Search prepares middle and high school students for successful completion of a secondary education; focusing on the college entry process, student retention, and developing skills needed for completion of a four-year college degree. Services include individualized advising, college admissions workshops, career exploration, and a summer technology camp.

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) Program

TRiO Student Support Services is a federally funded program which serves 350 NMSU students who are first generation (neither parent graduated from college with a four-year degree), meet low income criteria, and/or have disabilities. The SSS mission is to help students to stay in college until they earn a baccalaureate degree through specific services such as mentoring, tutoring, cultural activities, computer and book loans, and study-skills workshops.

TRiO Upward Bound Program

The NMSU TRiO Upward Bound Program, federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education, prepares high school students for successful entry into, retention in and completion of a four-year college degree. Participants learn skills and motivation necessary for success in post-secondary education.
